Kylegraduated from Eastern Michigan University in January 2008 with his B.S. in Biochemistry and Toxicology.  He also attended Carnegie Mellon University (1998-2000) and Grand Rapids Community College (2002-05) prior to completing his degree.  During his undergraduate studies, he learned techniques in IHC, Western blotting, tissue culture, and immunoflourescence used to study timed protein interactions between CAD and protein phosphatase 1.  He has also presented his findings at the Eastern Michigan University Undergraduate Symposium.  Born in New Jersey, Kyle lived in Ypsilanti, Michigan before moving to East Lansing to do his first rotation in Anne Dorrance’s laboratory.
